Elda Smart (eldasmart.onrender.com) is a personal recipe website that displays budget-friendly recipes with live ingredient prices sourced from Krónan. It is operated by an individual, not a company.

What data we collect

If you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or any other personal details.

If you use the site without an account, we do not collect any personal data.

Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• sessionid — keeps you logged in. Expires when you close your browser or log out.
• csrftoken — protects against cross-site request forgery. Required for forms to work.
• django_language — remembers your language preference.

We do not use tracking or analytics cookies. If advertising is added in future, this policy will be updated and a consent banner will be shown before any advertising cookies are set.

Third-party services

• Krónan — ingredient prices are fetched from their public API. No personal data is sent.
• Cloudinary — recipe images are hosted on Cloudinary's servers. No personal data is sent.
